CENTURY ROYAL HORSE FARM

Century Royal Horse farm came into existence in the year 2009.
Patiala, The Royal city of Punjab State in India is known for its beautiful buildings n gardens. Patiala is a perfect example of Blend of Mughal and British architecture.
Front gate and entrance of the Farm was constructed by using lime stone (Chunna) and no cement is used in construction. The design draws its inspiration from the Entrance of Queen's Palace at LalGarh Fort at Bikaner in Rajasthan, India.
The building inside with two Domes is a reflection of the structure at Agra named "Itmad Ul Daula" originally designed and built by the most powerful lady of Mughal Dynasty, Noor Jahan.
The bricks used to built the structures are more than 400 years old. Most of the wooden frames and bricks used in the farm were brought from the fort of Baba Alla Singh ( Founder of Patiala State) at Barnala.
Century Royal Horse Farm is private property of "Sira" family of Patiala and currently houses one of the finest horses in India.
Endurance Ride (4o Kms) organized by the farm in 2010 and 2011 are two feathers in the cap.
