Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research

The Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research at Jamia Millia Islamia was set up in 2009 with the intent to promote and develop studies of this region. Through a series of programmes, workshops and seminars and the development of a documentation centre, the Centre aims to nurture an understanding of various aspects of the North East. It also seeks to focus attention on the concerns of the region by encouraging research and collaboration in a broad range of issues including governance, conflict, environment, culture and heritage as well as regional co-operation.
