If the sea and the beaches do something to you but you’re stuck in Pune, we have a sigh of relief for you. We’re geographically not a seaside city but with Café Bohemia atleast we ‘foodically’ are! We never thought we’d say this for a café, but you’d want pack your bags and head here. It’s not just another cold looking café that claims to be a chill zone… it is a destination… rather home to music and peace.

The giant dream catcher at the very entrance establishes that this place is for day dreamers and dream chasers. Writers, artists, musicians and the misfits are all welcome to render whatever they like. And if you’re none of the above, you might just find yourself into one. ‘Everyone’s just running around trying to chase I don’t understand what? The idea is to create a space where they would want to stop, take a minute and unwind’.

The white and turquoise hues of the decor add up to the mini ‘beach therapy’. The music academy right above and its jamming sessions, further adds up to the shack like feel. The home-style hand-beaten coffee ensures that every hour is a happy hour at this wanderlust-ful café.

Imagine the air of the place that has inviting bird feeders, a pond of gold fish and some friendly dogs, all under one roof! Dreamcatchers, trunks, guitars, quotes and wooden logs - every nook and corner is dressed with cool carelessness. Patchwork sofas, garden chairs and the traditional Gujrati jhoola - No two seatings are same… each table seems like a photobooth, our favorite being the ‘PAY IT FORWARD’ table. The concept is when you chose to sit in this corner, once you’re done with your order, you pay not just the bill but also a little extra as per your wish. The same amount is deducted from the bill of the next customer who chooses to sit there! A little act of kindness for a total stranger!
