Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (U.P.)

Bundelkhand University was established on August 26, 1975 in Jhansi town of Uttar Pradesh. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has around 77 affiliated colleges and institutes which offers undergraduate courses. Post Graduate courses are usually offered by different university departments. In year 1986, it was rewarded with the status of a Residential University when the Department of Business Administration, Department of Rural Economics & Cooperation, Department of Mathematics and Statistics and, Department of Library & Information Science started operating in its main Campus. It offers courses in various disciplines such as arts, sciences, commerce, engineering and law etc.
It has a campus area over 186 acres of land on the both the sides of Jhansi – Kanpur highway.Then after few years, in 1986, it switched to residential institution. It offers residential facilities to faculty members, students and other staff members of the University.
