Through the album, The Journey, B.K comes forward and reaches out to the audience with a social message. His slang in the video is crisp, sarcasm sharp the problems of Tripura, evident. The singer highlights the issues through his lyrics - "
Don't hate the state/ Cause I'm truly embraced/To blow like a grenade"

The talented singer has grown up seeing his father fighting for his people’s right, and now he follows the same footsteps but through his passion. For someone whose journey has been defined by his growing-up years in Kamlachhera, a village in Tripura, Hrangkhawl calls his passion for music a natural progression and yearns for seeing his state a Peaceful Land !

Brief of the Songs:

My song "the roots" talks about the social condition of Tripura. It talks about how the indigenous people are being treated in Tripura. Despite of the fact that there is lack of employment for the tribals and many are living below poverty line, their homes and lands are being taken away from them. I don't want to point fingers at anyone but all i want to say is that there should be equality among the citizens of Tripura. We the tribal should also be given opportunity to excel ourselves in job opportunities, or in competitive exams. So me being from the same land i wanted to express my feeling for my tribal people.
N the song "power" talks about drugs abuse. Many people especially the youngsters are getting into drugs. I can relate to it because i have an uncle who is addicted to drugs. For me music is a weapon n i want to use this weapon to alert the youngsters and to make them conscious about the use of drugs and its consequences.
And my song "peace" talks about racism, discrimination , and hatred that we north-east people face in places like Delhi and other metropolitan cities. Basically what I'm trying to say in the song is to stop fighting among each other and even though we look different we belong to the same soil so why fight or discriminate.
