The Institution was started by Mr. Kanchan Basu who competed in various state level bodybuilding championships, former CAB player Certified Physical trainer with variants of, kettlebell, crossfit, aesthetic fitness , athlete training, sports medicine and nutrion. The gym started from the year 2005 in small area of not more than 750sq.ft. and now after more than a decade the gym has a workout space of 2000sq.ft. The gymnasium has always updated its equipments training style and will continue to updating in upcoming future too. This gym has produced lots of Bodybuilders, physic models, trainers who went on to train in many other reputed gymnasiums across the city. BodyShaper Gymnasium boasts to be the only gym to have a seprate Crossfit zone in all of BEHALA.
