Bobson Public Sr. Sec. School is a private, co-education English medium school affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, more commonly known as CISCE or the ICSE Board.
The school was founded in the year 1988 by Mr. & Mrs. Rizvi as a small, primary school. Later, in 2002, the founders decided to upgrade the school to an ICSE school and applied for the NOC (No Objection Certificate). In July 2002, the school received the NOC and went on to apply for recognition from the ICSE Board. The tireless efforts of the founders provided another victory to the school and by 2003, Bobson was provisionally affiliated to the CISCE. The first batch of ICSE students from our school appeared for the Board Examinations in the year 2005 and since then we have had ten batches, without a single failure. Ten years after getting the school affiliated to CISCE, it was decided by the Secretary of the Managing Committee, Mr. S. A. Rizvi, that the school be permanently affiliated to the Council and be upgraded from an ICSE school to an ISC school up to class XII. After consulting with the Committee members, the school applied for the upgrade, and once again, by the grace of God, was successful. The school received permission from the Council in June 2014 and is currently preparing its first batch of candidates for the Year 12 Board Examination in March 2016.
