Bishop's School, Ranchi

Bishop's School is located in the heart of Ranchi town in Bahu Bazar, Old Hajaribagh road in the state of Jharkhand, India. It was established in 1990. Since then, every year on 14th day September the School Festival is celebrated.
There had been three principals. The first Principal being Mr. Raymond Brian Barnes, who remained Principal till the year of 1997.The second was Mr. R.I. Thornton, who is now the director of the Bishop Academy(includes all the Bishop's School and Bishop's Wescott Boys/Girls School) in Ranchi. And now this position as the principal has been taken over by Miss S.K. Bright.
As the time is running by, the school has been ensuring better education and promising better results. However, these has been done without affecting the fact that a student is not only supposed to be with books all the time but should learn numerous extra curricular of his own choice. Students who are interested in Music are given the advantage to learn and play instruments, students who are interested in Martial Arts are taught Karate, students interested in writing and reading are given adeqaute knowledge about literature...etc.
