Teppakkulam Bishop Heber is one of the oldest school of India; Bishop and St.joseph are schools of excellence world wide; our school was supposedly started by french for education of their soldier's children; then it grew as a missionary, and a hospital; then as a full fledge school. Lord Walsh developed this school, hence the hostel still carries his name(Walsh hostel).Now it is a Higher Secondary School. Some sources say Sir.C.V.Raman studied here. It is a govt.aided school which has low school fees with good education and extra curricular activities.
