Bhukailash Welfare Center

Bhukailash Welfare Centre is a charitable organization that is involved in helping underprivileged people in Kolkata. This organization was established in 1982 in Kidderpore Port area. The mission of the welfare society is to provide health, education, clothes and vocational training for poor and needy people who reside in slums as well as the vicinity of Calcutta Port area. Bhukailash Welfare Centre is a registered organization that has been registered both at the national and international level. At the national level, they have been registered under Section 80 G of Income Tax Act; and at the international level, they have been registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act under Ministry of Home Affairs.
We are also involved in Samaritan activities like providing emergency hospitals for Ganga Sagar pilgrims for the last 25 years at Outram Ghat, Kolkata from 8th January to 17th January every year. Our main office bearers are Mr.Rajesh Khaitan who is the President; Mr.Sitaram Ray who is the General Secretary and Mr.Anil Kumar Saw, who is the Treasurer. For their future plans, we endeavor to construct a charitable hospital, educational facility for the poor and needy people of society, old age home, crèche and hostel for working women. We also plan to promote various awareness programmes like HIV, AIDS, Cancer, Safety of Women and Children, etc. for the benefit and welfare of society.
