BHAVNAGARI DRY FRUIT STORES

The legacy of Bhavnagari sweets dates back to early 1900’s in a small town of Bagasra near Bhavnagar, started by Mr.Virjibhai Karsandas. He migrated to Pune in 1911 and started off by selling Bhajiyas.

This business carried on by his family later laid the foundation of ‘Bhavnagari Dry Fruit Stores’ in 1969 on MG road. It was started by Mr. Mahesh Parekh under the guidance of his father Mr.Jayantilal Virjibhai Parekh, and this legacy continues till date with the same passion and dedication. They also launched a real estate business under the Bhavnagari banner. After his untimely demise in 2007 his son Mr.Anant Parekh took over this legacy and carries on this business in a new avatar, a blend of tradition and modernity in their new shop in Wanowrie.
