This initiative was taken by a couple – Kaveri & Yash Bhardwaj. They call their cab service for pets under new brand name “Best Pet Cab,” which is a part of a larger group known as ‘Best Pet Services.‘ It was founded in the year 2016 by this infoprenuer couple who are animal rights activists and believe in helping animals who are in distress. Best Pet Services also promotes dog adoption and stray dog welfare.

The Story Behind Best Pet Cab

One night Kaveri got the news that one of their friend couldn’t find a vehicle to take her sick dog to a hospital. Kaveri went to help but by the time they took the dog to vet, he passed away. This made Kaveri & Yash realize that they need to do something to help people who also face the same issue.

They were already planning to do something for the pets in Greater Noida and with this incident they decided to transform their plan into reality. Thus, Best Pet Cab service was launched on 23rd Oct. 2016. Currently, they drive two cars, one for big dogs and other one is to accommodate smaller dogs or puppies.

They pick and drop the pets personally. They are looking for compassionate drivers as most of the calls that they get are from far away places like Gurgaon.

The first service they offered was to an owner who wanted to take her pet for vaccination, but couldn’t find a vehicle that allowed pets inside.

“It is sad that animals suffer so much silently, and do not get timely help. Many do not allow injured pets inside their vehicles, We are here to help to the best of our ability.”

Why do we do it?

We were deeply saddened by the state of pet transportation services today, pet parents have to put up with nagging autowalas or other transporters. And let’s face it, everyone does not consider about the safety & comfort of your pets, nor do they care about the anxieties that our furry friends face when travelling.
