A village located west of district Ganderbal (approx 34⁰13’.5.62”N:74⁰40’24.84”E as refrence point), Batwina comprises of three mohallas :Astanpora (Rawatpora), Bagwanpora, Gangipora. Batwina's perimeter boundry touch Guzhama, Khanpora, Wakura, Nawabagh, Badampora, Zazna, Ahan, Waskura & Kharbagh (Gulshanabad), thus the actual village, Batwina, as officially is centrally situated amongst them. Nearby a health resort place "Mansbal' can be visited. Batwina is famous for its various holy and natural asets like Ziyarat-E-Mir Shah Syed Ahmed Kirmani (R.A), sadabahar (evergreen) chinar, springs etc.
