Battle of WhiZ, Amrita University

Battle of Whiz coding camp is an initiative by Amrita University to create awareness of competitive programming among the school students. The camp is completely organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering , under the auspices of PACE, the student association of the department. The camp is centred around the theme ‘Bringing Young Indian minds into programming‘ emphasising on the contest ‘International Olympiad in Informatics‘. The first camp was held in April 2016. 38 students from all over South India participated in this camp. The camp was a huge success. After a week-long intensive training students returned with a hope to become future programmers and computer scientists. Stay tuned for more updates on Battle of Whiz 2!
