BARRISTERS CHAMBER was founded in the year 2001 within months after the initiation of the economic liberalization program in India. The promise of an emerging economy and the expected changes in the investment and corporate environment provided an outstanding opportunity of new avenues of growth to Indian legal profession.

It was then that our Chairman & Founder, Amresh Shandilya, envisioned the need and opportunity to institute a law firm which would represent a paradigm shift from the then established structures of family or individual controlled law firms in India. That vision has resulted in BARRISTERS CHAMBER evolving from a solo start up in a one room office to a collegial firm with over 30 professionals in seven offices across India.

During the 16 years of its existence, BARRISTERS CHAMBER has led the change in the way law firms are owned, managed and operated. We are consistently ranked amongst the top law firms in the country
