Baptist Academy

Started as a dream and prayer of Dr. & Mrs. P.D.Cherian, Baptist Academy has come a long way since its inception in 1996. In its first year, the academy included a grand total of just twenty students and two teachers. Today, the school employs 30 faculties and staff members, and enrollment has climbed up to 500. Over the years, many improvements and changes have kept pace with the school’s steady growth. The school facilities themselves have undergone many construction phases. The current campus includes a spacious two-story building that provides individual rooms for each class and separate laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology and computer science. A library which includes 4000 volume of books and a nicely kept sports field for exercises and competitions. The garden adjacent to the campus provides both beauty and a place for monthly practicals for the students. Quite recently, smart boards were added to the majority of the classrooms so that teachers can access additional educational materials and include extra visuals and audio to supplement classroom curriculum.
