' BANKRI " is a group of Theater and Folk culture at Bankura town.
We believe that we have a social responsibility to make a new world and dreamed for it. We think Drama is an authentic efficient weapon to make success our dreams. we need to culture, practice, discuss, promote and perform of Drama culture.

We also published a RNI registered half-yearly magazine on same Theater & folk culture.

We are trying to save our Folk culture which is now destroying day by day.

we think that which culture serve the man, say for man,help to united men, and belongs the men in the circle of culture that is Folk culture. it means not only culture of our past days. so which person or organization's feelings are equal with us they can walking with us.
