In a small building situated amidst the endless hustle of Koramangala, Atta Galatta aims to revive the striking pieces of Vernacular writings, by ushering them into trend.

In a venture to bring back the residents of Bangalore to their very roots, we here at Atta Galatta host events that are unique in their very nature. From book-readings in Tanglish to art exhibits and poetry interpretations by the creators themselves, there is an incessant effort to reach a level of impeccable consumer satisfaction.

With ‘Atta’ being the Kannada word for play and the Hindi word for dough and ‘Galatta’ referring to vociferous racket; the brand name Atta Galatta refers to the fun and games, as well as our baked goodies amidst the usual hustle of the streets that the Bangaloreans have incorporated into their lives.

In our attempt to make the highly acclaimed volumes of the Indian writers available to the Bangaloreans, we have collaborated with the experts of regional languages and sought help from them to draw a great list of books.
