Asiwan

Hello ! According to my studay ---Asiwan has been a very old settlement in the region of Oudh ( Awadh) . After 1857 it was made a pargana alongwith Rasoolabad and called Asiwan-Rasoolabad, now under Tehsil Hasanganaj. Its first chakladar was Maulvi Habib-al-Rahman who was granted the vast land holdings in lieu of his contributions during the 1857 uprising. He made Asiwan and later on MIyanganj his headquarters. With the passage of time his family went into oblivion and though they still hold considerable amount of land around , are in a much reduced condition than their forefathers. Asiwan has a very big Ganj-i-Shaheeda'aan , one of the most oldest martyr field in Awadh , historically very very important existed before the Ghauri Period. A very big pond A fine Mosque A mazar of Gudri Shah are all situated here. Its a place to live and explore the old remnants quite patiently.


But now this place is seems very beautiful and it have huge and lovely lake called "Bada Talaab", Asiwan containing a huge range of Mango Gardens , the fishes and birds are the main center of attraction here because of lake.

An other interesting fact of Asiwan is its "GUDRI BABA's FAIR" it held every year on its time.its a big sign of unity among different communities. Asiwan is also known as the peaceful living of different religion with each other.
