Organic Ashram is a brand of Bharat Uday Karmayogi Ashram – a non-profit charitable public trust registered under the Indian Public charitable trust act 1882. Any profit generated by Ashram’s organic business is only used for the charitable humanitarian works. We are dedicatedly working towards educational reforms, sustainable agriculture and environment sustainability and sustainable development, anti-dowry and gender discrimination movements, women empowerment, education and health services to underserved communities in India.
Ashram spreads over 100 acres certified organic farms in the pristine areas of ravines of Betwa river in district Hamirpur (UP). This land was not contaminated by use of any chemicals ever. Thus ashram’s farms are eternally organic farms. Ashram also coordinates with traditional organic farmers of the neighboring communities. We ensure pure wholesome organic foods with highest nutrition and enriching taste by using time tested indigenous seeds to grow food at the ashram.
Ashram’s Organic is headed by Dr. Ravi Kant Pathak, an atmospheric scientist, social reformer and entrepreneur. Dr. Pathak is an IITian (IIT Bomaby; B. Tech. & M. Tech. 1999- Chemical Engineering) and alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Currently, he is a faculty member at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a man of principles and maintains a strong character. His wide network and trust among many IITians and like-minded people across the globe is mark for his passion for humanitarian causes. He strives to provide you best quality organic foods at your doorstep.
