Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala has
several attractions of its own. As a result of
these attractions,the population of the city
has increased substantially after the
formation of the Kerala state in 1956.The
numerous educational Institutions,cultural
and social organisations and associations
give ample scope for leading a comfortable
and happy life.Above all the citizens have the
facilities to select a school of their choice
from the numerous educational institutions
for giving good and proper education to
their wards. BuT commercialisation and
politics Has deteriorated the quality of
educAtioN from Play school to Higher
Education. The abSence of a modern and
model public school with all facilities and
amenities is also kEEnly felt.In order to
satisfy the long felt need of education,the
ThiruvananathapuRam Muslim Association
Education Trust decided to establish a model
public school with all up-to-date equipments
and amenities to give sound and well
balanced education not only to the students
of the city but also to the students from
abroad.The Muslim Association
Thiruvanathapuram has formed a Trust and
started Abdul Salam Rafi Residential Public
School on the city at Nettayam to cater to the
above mentioned necessities.
