Arcot Sri Mahalakshmi Women's college Of Arts and Science (Since 1999 )- villapakkam was established in the year 1999 with just 70 Students on roll and five streams. Today the college has grown to a big family of more than 3000 Students and more than 95 faculty members. The college offers 13 UG courses and 8 PG courses and additionally 3 Research streams. Founded by Doctor K.R.Baskaran and Run by Mahalakshmi Educational Charitable Trust, the colleges affiliated to Thiruvalluvar university, vellore. Locate at about 5km from Arcot Town.
