APV School - Holistic Education

APV School provides fearless and joyful education to the local village children of Tehri Garhwal. Our school is based on the principles of mindfulness, music, creativity and equality. We live, meditate, farm, trek, make music and run a school together.

The school began out of the vision of Anand Dwivedi, a long time educator, writer, and musician, who desired to bring creative education to India based on the ancient values of spiritual connection and conscious evolution. We provide a system of education that is a far cry from the limitations of rote memorization and corporal punishment relevant in India today. Instead, our children learn to link the brain into wholeness through both practical and creative means of learning through drama, hands on learning, and observation where they are encouraged to always be curious and confident.
