Police training institute and police quarters are spread over half km in this area. This township is located at the main entry of the town by Pithapuram road. There has been a continuous increase in the commercial area that is now progressing towards the residential areas. There is commercial area on one side and a well settled residential population on the other. Most of the people living in residential area are employees. The area houses General shops, Stationary shops, Photo studios etc. Some of the famous educational institutions like Mohan educational institution, Swami public school, APSP municipal school are providing educational facilities.
