Jaunpur, Situated approximately 50 km from Varanasi (Benaras), Uttar Pradesh, a small place, which pertains colossal and profound history.

Founded by Sultan of Delhi Feroz Shah Tughlaq, roughly in the year 1359, in the memory of his cousin Mohammad Bin Tughlaq (a.k.a. Jauna Khan), the Jaunpur City, holds high historical importance.

Currently the city is home to simple people who enjoy simple things in life, unlike the fast paced world that we live in, without any ulterior motive whatsoever.

Anupam Jalpan caters to taste buds of thousands of such people on daily basis since 1969. Founded by Late Shri Hira Lal Gupta, a direct descendant from families of “Halwais” since 1800s. His sons and grandsons continue his legacy till date.

Several sweets and savouries have seen the light of the day by innovative minds and ambidextrous hands working at our QSR and Mithai counters.

Apart form specializing in Imirti (a sweet made form Urad Dahl), Khoya Sweets, Chhena Sweets and Yogurt based Bengali Sweets, we are also a pit stop for good old chhola-samosas and Paneer Sandwiches etc.
