Anjad

Anjad is a town and a nagar parishad in Barwani district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.GeographyAnjad is located in the Narmada Valley, at. It has an average elevation of 151 metres (495 feet). It is a tehsil in Barwani district. There is a beautiful ancient temple named "Nagari mata" situated on the top of a hill in right corner of the town. Two other prominent temples are Gayatri Temple and Saibaba Temple (Chota shirdi). Its distance from Barwani is 16 km and130 km fron Indore. Pancha Mukhi Hanuman temple is another famous temple of Anjad.
