OUR FIRST STEP:

Members of AMITHA FOUNDATION group are basically employees and students. All of them individually nurture the idea of helping others and collectively decided to implement the ideas. Our discussion on 28.12.13 to plunge into action was fruitful. On the New Year Day of 2014, we visited the asha jyothi ashram, located in adilabad, to spend quality time with the innocent, uncared, unwanted and lovelorn children, men and women of all ages and we were successful in spreading joy and bringing smiles to those otherwise hapless people

For the first time ever we understood the joy of giving, sharing and caring. At the same time moved by the problems in the world, the ultimate ground realities. Nothing appeared to be more fulfilling than spreading love and sharing happiness.

Motivated by the satisfaction of the New Year activity, we planned to continue our effectors as a group. Our first step after forming the group to raise fund for thalassemia patient by collecting blood by keeping BLOOD DONATION DRIVE event.

OUR STRENGTH:

Volunteers are the real strength of AMITHA FOUNDATION. Each one of you is responsible for the success of AMITHA FOUNDATION. With your active participation and co operation, the journey has been wonderful and it is like living a dream. Year after year we are making good progress with your wise inputs and timely help.
AMITHA FOUNDATION’S walk with 10-15 members in April 2014, now it became a June of 120+ members. Irrespective of busy schedules, our volunteers love to know the progress of AMITHA FOUNDATION. We values feedbacks and work on suggestions.

OUR SCOPE:

Mostly we are doing activities in & around Adilabad district. And recently we started our activities in Karimnagar also. There is no specification on where to do the activities. If interested volunteer(s) is available we can start activities in his/her own place.





YOU CAN BE PART OF ANY OF OUR FOLLOWING PROJECTS:

1. CHEYUTHA:

Extending our financial support & guidance to poor meritorious Students.

2. VIKAS:

Conducting career guidance’s sessions. Awareness classes, inter & Intra school essay writing, educational quiz weekly & fortnight classes, preliminary eyes check up & many other competitions in Govt schools/ colleges to motivate, inspire and guide children’s towards career excellence with positive attitude & self confidence. We are also planning to extend these in villages.

3. SHARE & CARE:

Visiting & supporting Orphan, Old age, Physically Visually & Mentally Challenged, destitute and other differently abled homes. Share happiness by spending our valuable time with these Unwanted, Unloved & Uncared ones. We are extending our financial help along with taking sessions to the children’s.


4. SAVE EARTH:

Save our mother earth from global warming by planting trees and creating awareness on plastic usage, water & power saving, plantation etc..,

5. SAVE LIFE:

Conducting regular blood donation camps & awareness sessions. In particularly, working on thalassemia prevention &its awareness, support poor thalassemia patients. We are trying to channelize blood donors for the requests received from patients of hospital.

6. AKSHARAM:

This project is targeting on education & development of slums. In order to create educational/schooling interest in children, we are conducting daily/weekly classes, medical camps, counseling sessions to children’s & parents in slums.

7. ANNAM PARABRAHMAM:

Distribution of food in poor, destitute & needy people on roads. With the help of donors we are thinking to begin a project in which less then 20rs. Plate meals should get to every person.

8. FLOOD RELIEF ACTIVITIES:

Extending immediate support & organizing relief camps in areas affected by natural Calamities like Flood, Fire Accidents.

9. HEALTH SUPPORT:

Extending moral & financial support to poor needy and unknown, unwanted &uncared patients at hospitals.


10. OTHER PROJECTS:

We are also doing many activities like:
Joining orphans, destitues in homes,
Old clothes distribution,
Working on eye/organ donations,
Right to information (RTI),
Igniting people towards social service,
Connecting serving NGO’s/individuals etc..,
