Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad-ABVP Chhattisgarh

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, popularly known as ABVP, the largest student organisation in the country, working on the vast canvas of national reconstruction with educational field as the launching pad. The biggest non-party and nationalist student organisation, with a membership of nearly 16 lakhs (2008) and about 4400 units and contact places spread over 230 universities, establishing its own distinctive identity, through diverse Constructive-Agitational Representional activities. From the day of its inception in 1949, ABVP relentlessly works for allround development of the student community, solving educational problems and contributes to cultivate nationalist student power to bring a healthy educational atmosphere and give direction to the youth power of this country. With its focus on Knowledge-Character-Unity and with its firm belief that Student's Power is Nation's Power, ABVP regenerates self-confidence and pride of our youths in the heritage of our Motherland and committed to make this nation stand at par with any forward Nation of the Globe.

ABVP in our state has played a remarkable role mobilizing student community in all university and important colleges. With the band of dedicated workers of its own, it works in almost all district centres and places of Chhattisgarh.
