• Its said that a person cannot survive in the film industry without having a godfather . But we, the A.Ks through dedication, determination and teamwork have proven this to be a myth. A big thanks to our clients for their trust, support and love.
A.K. Studio is a Media Production House located at Karvenagar in Pune. It was established on 21st October 2007 which then comprised of a single audio studio. Now after 6 years , AK has expanded and catered to the larger area of this field, and has come up with a full-fledged production house and 2 additional studios in the same vicinity. Its owned by Mr. Kedar Athavale and Mr. Vikram Gokhale. The media house believes in 24x7 working style.


• AUDIO Services
A.K is involved in all types of audio recordings of songs and dubbing projects including films and documentaries, background score as well as voice- over recordings for all types of films. We have a separate music room section for composing any kind of music and background scores. We also offer on- location sound.

• VIDEO Services
A.K. has a full – fledged video setup , including a chroma studio of 250 sq ft. It also consists of a separate make –up room , a pantry and a cafeteria if the clients would like to relax in their break. AK is involved in all types of video editing of corporate films, documentaries, short films and all types of video shootings for film making as well as a 3 – camera setup coverage of various events .

A.k. as an institute

1. Dubbing and Voice –Over Classes ( Children & Elders)
Dubbing is a unique profession for one and all in today’s world. Due to lack of knowledge of modulation and projection , thousands of voice- over artists are lost. Keeping this in mind , A.k studio started dubbing coaching classes which now has become a success story . A.K. has become a way through for a break as a voice – over artist for many amateurs , which now have become professional voice- over artists. The course includes training in voice modulation , projection , basics of sound and a voice-over profile CD ready for every student with all the effects and background score at the end of the course with a certificate. So that they will get commercial opportunities immediately .The best part is anyone and everyone from a grandmother to a kindergarten student can enroll for this course and learn under the able guidance of Mr. Kedar Athavle. Till now, 280 students have passed from A.K.

2. Sound Engineering
Sound Engineering is a combination of creativity combined with proper technical knowledge . Technicality can be learnt through obtaining a degree in sound engineering but creativity comes through ‘practical observation’ and hours of discussions with the teacher , who is a guiding light for the students . Keeping this in mind , A.K studios started sound – engineering classes where students can operate the system for 24x7 and also involve themselves in the mixing and dubbing of various projects of A.K. studio including films and advertisements , under the able guidance of Mr. Kedar Athavle. We also have ‘accomodation’ services for students from outside the city. Though there is no affiliation to any university , our unique way of teaching has lead many students to become professional sound engineers. No specific requirement is needed for this course , all you need is a passion for sound !
