Ajjampura

Ajjampura was a small town and a hobli headquarters in Tarikere Taluk in the district of Chikmagalur,Now it has been declared as a Taluk Karnataka, India. It is unclear if Ajjampura is the second largest town in Tarikere Taluk.Ajjampura has a Police Sub-Inspector's Office, one movie theatr, a Veterinary Hospital and the 'Amrit mahal' cattle breeding station.Ajjampura is affiliated with Government First Grade College which is a constituent college of, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, Karnataka, India. Ajjampura is having one of the oldest Grocery Shop called Sri Laxhmi BhandarTransportationAjjampura is located at a crossroad. People can travel by road to Tarikere, Birur, Bukkambudhi and Hosadurga(Chithradurga). There is also a railway station, from where one can travel to Bangalore and Davangere.
