Aishwarya Trust

Our charitable Trust was founded in March 2008 in Chennai, India. Although we are a broad based organization, our focus at the moment is to assist families whose children are suffering from congenital heart defects.

Know about Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) :
- Heart Defects that develop before birth are known as Congenital Heart Defect (CHD).
- CHD arises due to the abnormal development of the heart.
- CHD's are No.1 cause of birth defect related deaths.
- Approximately 9 out of 1000 new born are affected with CHD.

Symptoms :
- Murmur or Abnormal sound in the heart.
- A bluish tint (slight coloring) to the skin, fingernails and lips.
- Lesions(any abnormality in the skin)
- Poor feeding and low in weight gain.

Early diagnosis of babies with above mentioned symptoms using echo test identifies CHD immediately and could improve their survival as well as reducing morbidity(rate of incidents) by performing corrective surgery. Therefore, we have made it Aishwarya Trust's mission to provide financial assistance to enable these children to get corrective surgeries done at leading private hospitals.

We feel that each child deserves the best available treatment.
