Air Force School

Air Force School, Jodhpur is run as a welfare measure for AF personnel under the aegis of IAF Educational and Cultural Society. The School initially started with classes (LKG to V) with an intake of approximately 400 students in 1952. Subsequently, it was upgraded to Secondary level and affiliated to the CBSE in November 1988. The School has grown into a full-fledged Senior Secondary level since 1994 and today it has strength of 735 students and 25 sections in all. This includes 03 Pre-Primary 10, Primary, 10 Secondary and 02 Senior Secondary sections. The school has qualified/ trained teaching staff to cater to academic needs of the students.

Besides academics, the school provides equal attention of all Co-curricular activities and offers opportunities to the children for their harmonious growth and all round development of personality. The four houses of the school viz, ARYABHATTA, ROHINI, RAMANUJAN and BHASKAR have been showing an upward trend in quality of participation by students in various Inter-House Competitions which are held to bring out the hidden talents and potential of the children.

With up-gradation to Senior Secondary level, fully equipped Science Laboratories were established for practicals. The school has a full-fledged library with 7485 books in its stock to provide reference and reading material to the students.
The School has a Computer Cell functioning to impart computer education as a subject to the students from class III to XII.
