We are very happy and privileged to invite you to the AICOG 2017 during January 2017. This mega-event is organized by the AOGS, one of the founder societies of FOGSI & one of the most dynamic and progressive member bodies of FOGSI.

The Ahmedabad Obstetric & Gynec Society (AOGS) has a great track record in organizing the premium event and has organized in the past 3 highly successful AICOGs in 1963, 1986 & 2000. We are very committed to continue the tradition of our stalwarts in organizing conferences with top-quality scientific program as well as capital fellowship and camaraderie.

Ahmedabad and Gujarat have been at forefront of integrating technical developments in our specialty and has centers of excellence in all big three technologies: Endoscopy Surgery, fetal ultrasonography and ART. The AOGS has always vouched for evidence based clinical practices and amalgamation of good quality obstetrics with technological advances in our fraternity. The AOGS has taken initiatives for regular updating of knowledge, accreditation and ethical and moral aspects of professional practice. The scientific menu that we have worked up for you, has many delicacies on the platter, related to both day to day practices as well as high-technologies. We have planned 12 pre-congress workshops (including 5 live surgical workshops) to give you the latest developments in OBG surgeries.

Gujarat offers a tete a tete with the Gir lions (the lone abode of Asiatic lions), the famed Dwarika (capital of lord Krishna’s empire), Somnath (the first of the twelve Jyotirlinga), the Dhola Vira (most ancient human settlement in India) for the visitors. One can also visit the step-wells of Patan & Adalaj or the Hriday Kunj Ashram of Mahatma Gandhi.
