The camp is located at about 12 kilometers from Shimla in a little town called SHEELGAON. Approx at 7500 ft height from sea level, SHEELGAON has some amazingly beautiful spots with thick woods, dense forests, nature walks, picnic spots and noted for its apple orchards. SHEELGAON has a very good climate with four distinct seasons. In the summer months of April to June, wild flowers fill the meadows, and the air is cool, fresh and pine-scented and it can rain off and on. The rainy season from July to August has an appeal of its own with misty mountains and glorious sunsets. The view of the clouds between the small mountains in the Rainy season is spectacular and you will feel like watching it from sky. September to November is pleasant and bracing, while winter is crisp and invigorating with snow and bright, sunny weather
