Anti Corruption Bureau, Gujarat was established on 30th September, 1963 after formation of the state of Gujarat from the Bombay state. 70 officers of inspector rank are serving in 33 major districts of the state. One police station is situated in each district of the state. In each police station, one or two police inspectors and several constables are appointed to assist in anti-corruption activities. The purpose of ACB, Gujarat, is to uproot corruption from all government and public sector enterprises located in the state of Gujarat.
