Designed much like a large country home, the space provides for a comfortable environment that makes you feel welcome and at home almost immediately. The space is features different zones that merge seamlessly, offering different experiences, ranging from a very home like window side lounge, to a cottage style fireplace, to classic four person dining and a richly furnished whiskey and cigar corner, each zone featuring its own customized ensemble of furniture and artifacts that lend authenticity. 52 Janpath offers a variety of dining and hosting styles.

The overall design aesthetic of the space draws inspiration from medieval architectural styles, using period specific building elements like rustic stone walls and limestone flooring, combined with down to earth home style interiors, bringing in a touch of modern & industrial treatments in terms of furniture and lights. The comfortable and welcoming furniture with carefully handpicked upholstery that maximizes on tactile and visual experience, placed against the towering medieval backdrop, contributes to an immersive experience that insulates the mind from the everyday droning buzz of the city, creating a unique ambience which successfully weaves together the warmth & rusticity of country living and the familiarity of a modern day environment.

The space features tall sunlit French windows looking into a quaint little backyard, that is lush with your everyday greens and seasonal flowers. Featuring miniature pergolas & a vertical garden this sweet little backyard is not unlike one from a fairytale. Complete with Grill it makes for the perfect outdoor hosting, a leisurely brunch with friends & family, or an evening dinner right under the night sky. The garden themed bar features special herb based cocktails, made from fresh herbs plucked right from the backyard with most of its ingredients on display. The open kitchen is an interpretation of an old castle kitchen, overlaid with the functionality a modern live kitchen, whereby some of the culinary craftsmanship from behind the kitchen door can come forward, bringing the whole “food creation” experience from “back of house” to “front of house", bridging the gap between guests and the chefs.
