جمعية السلفيـيـن الخيرية Salafi Charitable Trust

Salafi Charitable Trust, established at Narikkuni Kozhikode Taluk, is a charitable organisation working for the Social and Educational growth of the Muslim dominated Malabar area in the State of Kerala, where the opportunites for post matriculate phase of education is very rare even now. It is a fully voluntary organisation coveted to the educational and social improvement of the general public irrespective of their Caste and Creed and especially for Muslim minority Communities. Schemes of the trust includes, payments of educational awards, Scholarships, Medical aids to the needy people, Care of Orphans and Widows, relief work and other schemes and programmes necessary for the improvements of social and educational status of the people of Kerala, especially in Kozhikode district area. The trust is a registered one under the Indian Registration act governed by the provisions of Indian Trust Act (Act 2 of 1882) and has been in existence since 1987. It has a proper constitution of articles of association and properly constituted governing body with its powers clearly defined in the deed of trust, for its management. The members of the governing body are wellknown personalities in the field of education, social work and administration. The trust is not working for the profit of any person or body and it does not encourage or discourage the interests of any political party. Trust does not discriminate any person or group of persons in the ground of language, sex or religion. It believes in communal harmony and upholds secular and democratic values.
