The Hosahalli Government School was founded in 25th September, 1929 by Government of Mysore, in the village Hosahalli of Mandya district to provide free school education to the Children.
The Hosahalli Government School, Hosahalli, is in the heart place of Mandya District. The school was established in 1929 with a view to provide quality school education to the residents of Hosahalli and surrounding villages. It had 41 students in the first academic year. Currently there are around 300 students studying in the school. The school has its own building, good infrastructure and all necessary facilities are provided to students. The school has been registering pass percentage of 80 and above in the SSLC examination over the years.
Cultural Activities:
Cultural activities are conducted throughout the year. The last period on Fridays is reserved for cultural activities. Students participate in cultural competitions conducted in other schools and in inter-school competitions. Some of the cultural and co-curricular activities conducted at the school are given below.
