Wama craft

WAMA is an organisation working to create sustainable and dignified income- generation opportunities for the rural women of Kutch, through the medium of fine crafts.
Approx 800 women are engaged in producing top quality merchandise using skills such as hand embroidery, tie- dye (baandhni), patchwork ,quilt making and applique.
Using these traditional skills, contemporary products are made without losing their ethnic roots.
