Vishwashanti Sangeet Kala Academy, Rajbaug, Pune, is a dream materialized of being a one of its kind institute which will enable students to learn music of different genres under one single umbrella.
Based on the age old Guru-Shishya Parampara, aiming to revive and promote the rich legacy of Indian music, this foundation is the brainchild of our mentor,
Hon'ble Smt Lata Mangeshkar and our Founder President
Prof. (Dr.) Vishwanath D. Karad and will have renowned names in the field of Indian music as Gurus/ teachers.
Established on a sprawling picturesque campus of more than 150 acres, a state of art architecture based on the concept of Saptarang, Saptarishi and Saptaswar is an ideal location for the divine art. The classes, where the Guru would teach the shishya will be held in the seven huge domes which would also serve as small individual museums for a variety of musical instruments. The domes, built along the beautifully flowing Mula Mutha river, adds the desired serenity to the environment, making it a true Sangeet Gurukul.
