Ven Thamarai Kalvi Arakattalai (White Lotus Education Foundation) is just born Foundation by a group of socially committed professionals who have the vision of catalyzing socio-economic change among disadvantaged sections of the society through ensuring Higher education to the poor Student who completes up to Schooling. Our foundation believes that every individual has the right to excel in life through higher education to become independent and socially productive for a better world. We understand from our experience that Education is the good platform in equipping children with the skills to maintain a healthy and productive existence and grow into resourceful and socially responsible adults.
Our vision is "To give higher education to financially poor students to realize their academic potential and to become socially responsible person to the world where they live."
Around 4 months back, we have formed one small group (6 persons) and started to contribute fund from our salary in monthly basis for this cause. We were planned that every year we give this total collected money to poor students (one or two based on fund status) for their higher studies who are not able to continue their study after their 10th or 12th standard. After few months of contribution, we thought if we get more people support on this cause then we can support more student’s higher education. We know there are lot of good hearted people around us like you who is thinking how to support or help to our society. Thus we decided to start this foundation to make a proper way to support this society and bring it to your knowledge for getting more contribution to our younger generation. As we all know, today's small contribution will change many students future in a good way.
