Vaish Model Senior Secondary School

Its foundation stone was laid down in 1980 by the benevolent hands of prominent social worker, verteran leader, renowned freedom fighter, Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister of Haryana, Late Shri Banarasi Dass Gupta. The journey from infancy to adulthood has been tough but the encouragement received at various stages inspired the promoters to move further at an unprecedented pace.
The qualified, experienced and industrious team of teaching staff leaves no stone unturned to develop all the aspects of a sound personality in students.

Spread over an area of 4.2 acres the school is proud of its open and healthy surroundings. Special care is taken to create a homely atmosphere, thus ensuring a happy and secure feeling among the new comers. More emphasis is laid on providing ample opportunities for adopting the ethics of community living and to promote flexibility, adaptability and proper social sense of Indian culture.

At Present, the school caters to the needs of approximately 3700 students in classes Nursery to XII. The idea of setting up such a model institution was first conceived in 1976. Late Shri Bhagirath Mal Buwaniwala acted like a Beacon of light in collecting funds to start this institutions. He, along with Late Shri Gauri Shankar Bajaj, who proved himself life and soul of the school, did a lot of spade work. As a result it finally took concrete shape in 1980 when it made a modest debut in the educational sphere. It was nurtured from a tiny sapling into giant Banyan tree firmly rooted in Vaish Mahavidyalaya Trust, one of the pioneering trusts of Haryana. A number of educational institutions like Vaish Post Graduate College, Vaish Sr. School, Shri Shiv Lal Saraf Vaish Kanya Primary School, Vaish Kanya Primay School, Vaish Aided Primary School are progeny of the same trust. It is situated at a prime location on Loharu Road in an area of 10300 sq. yards alongwith a separate playground having an area of 12000 sq yards.
The School has its own Managing Committee comprising of leading industrialists, Businessmen, Social workers and Educationists. Shri K.K. Mohta has been the President since the beginning. Late Shri G.S. Bajaj was the founder Secretary while Shri Pawan Kumar Buwaniwala took charge as Secretary in April 1989. He took the school to the pinnacles of glory carrying on the healthy tradition of progress.



Consequently, the school received its first affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi on 1st April 1991 and was further upgraded to the Senior Secondary level in April 1994. The School has an exemplary record in academics with 18 batches of A.I.S.S.E (X) and fifteen batches of A.I.S.S.C.E.(XII) passing out by 2010. During its journey of 30 years, the school has established many milestone in all the academic, literary, co-scholastic areas & co-scholastic activities which have placed the institution at a prominent position in the entire region
