It was Shri.Sanjeev Kumar h 's dream to start NGO which would help poor, needy, under privileged, unheard and rural sections of the society.
Then he, his mother and his likeminded friends joined together to start Ujjwala Bharat Foundation. With limited resources, limited support, maximum interest, maximum zeal and WILL to bring changes in the lives of many, lead to birth of Ujjwala Bharat Foundation. It was during Sanjeev's final year BE that this foundation was started.
It was his mother who gave him moral support and financial requirement for registering this trust. Shri. Sanjeev took an active lead in getting done all the legal formalities and procedures.
On 19th Feb 2014, Ujjwala Bharat Foundation was registered under "Registration of Trust Act" , by the may 2014 Ujjwala Bharat Foundation got PAN (AAATU5736B) and by the mid of June 2014, Karnataka Bank Pvt. Ltd allotted current account in their Herohalli branch (C/A no : 9142000100031701).
Many useful, important social activities have been done in a short span of 15 months.
Some of the programs and activites undertaken are
1. Setting up of a computer lab in a GHPS (government higher primary school) with uninterrupted power supply.
2. HELPING A GIRL CHILD!!!! Ujjwala Bharat Foundation paid school fees
( Rs.2170 ) of Kumari Ranjitha of class 10, NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, Basavanagudi.

3. FIGHT AGAINST CANCER!!!
Ujjwala Bharat Foundation, Health department sanctioned a sum of five thousand rupees( Rs.5000) towards payment of chemotherapy expenses.

4. Ujjwala Bharat Foundation helped a poor couple (with a newly born baby girl) get a house for rent, for which it bared advance amount of Rs.5000.
5. Six students were awarded scholarship of Rs.1500 each for passing 10th standard with distinction on 15th august 2014 in Kunigal taluk, Tumkur district.
With dedicated Team and strong leadership Ujjwala Bharat Foundation will help more people in coming days and try creating a better society.
