Udhayam FC - NGO

Udhayam Franciscan Capuchins is a Non-Government Organization. It aims at empowering the socially excluded sections of the society. It is a minor multipurpose Social service society which focuses on negotiating with government officials to support welfare of the poor. It currently operates at 11 centers across Tamil Nadu. In Trichy, they undertake the job oriented courses like tailoring, computer courses, driving training, etc. The stitching training provided to women belonging to Sri Lankan refugee camp enables them to produce high quality clothing for women. These women also produce handicrafts, handbags and utensils. Apart from this, the NGO has a computer coaching institute for underprivileged students.
