The Teacher Learning Centre has emerged as one of the ideas focused on this need. TLC is one element to enable mobilisation and offering different modes of engagement to the teachers. However it is important to note that it's not the only one. Given the spread out nature of teachers in any district, we will necessarily have to have other ways. For this we will need to continue other approaches to mobilization like Melas, large-scale seminars and participation in cluster and block level regular teacher meetings. Further our engagements also shouldn’t be restricted to only TLCs. To achieve the richness in engagements and maintain higher reach, we should continue to do engagements outside like Voluntary Teacher Forums in other locations like schools, participation in in-service programs etc.
