STUDIO AWAKE-CAN

Studio Awake-can is the art and animation house, which was started in early 2015 but it’s rooted with founders who’ve been experienced since 2006. Studio team is here with the vision of providing specialized creative and artistic animation solutions.
After its birth, the studio strives to provide specialized multi-media products in the Bhutanese market with particular focus on animation and creative art solutions. Studio Awake-can truly believes in art of animation and work for the love of creative animation. We are with the vision of transforming ideas into new creations of art. We believe animation and combined live-actions can be artistic, engaging, entertaining, and also informative and educational.
"Nowhere"(2013) and "Haste Slowly"(2016) are short animated films produced by the Studio Awake-can which won the first prize in Animation category (awarded Golden Khadar by the Jury members,Beskop Tshechu Committee and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC) during the Beskop Tshechu(Bhutanese Short Film Festival).

In 2016, produced Bhutanese first 2d animation film “Drukten-The Dragon’s Treasure” for the Drukten Productions in association with Studio Awake-can and also “Aum Yeshey Dawa” 2d animated mini TV series of 100 episodes for RENEW Organization empowering women and children.
