One of the biggest Arts and Science College affiliated to the Mahathma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The college is managed by the Mar Thoma Syrian Church. The College was established in 1953. It is situated on the top of a hillock with the backdrop of the panoramic view of the lush green valley below, veiled in soft mist. The distantly meandering Holy River Pampa which originates from the Sabarimala hills, the Holy abode of Lord Ayyappa, not only adds its own charm to the surroundings but also bestows her blessings to this Temple of Learning.The World's second largest Christian gathering, the Maramon Convention, the Cherukolpuzha Hindu Matha Parishad, The Maramon and Kozhencherry Mar Thoma Churches, Parthasarathy Temple at Aranmula, the Grand Regatta of Snake Boat race in the River Pampa and the presence of other Churches and Temples add its own charming spell to the soul of this Campus. The picturesque beauty of the location itself enthralls the minds of any visitor to this Campus and showcases a beautiful slice of 'Kerala , the God`s Own Country'. The College is re-accredited with B++ by NAAC, New Delhi.
