St Sebastian Church Coonoor

The present day church was blessed on the 20th of May 1999 by His Excellency Bishop Mar Emmanuel Pothanamoozhy in the presence of Bishop Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy who had become the Bishop of Thamarassery Diocese.Today, St. Sebastian’s shrine at the entrance, a convent on one side, a Sunday school on the other side, a grotto of Mother Mary behind and a cemetery underneath. There are 100 families belonging to this church. The present parish priest is Rev. Fr. Jijo
