The Sant Atulanand Convent School is governed by “ Swami Atulanand Rachana Parishad” a registered academic and social institution. The School was started in July 1980 in an old building. The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi Since 1986. This school is a co-educational school for children from standard pre-nursery to XII. It is located in Varanasi City .
Dr. Raj Singh, Former - Head of Chemistry Department in Udai Pratap Autonomous College, Varanasi, U.P., has established a society named Swami Atulanand Rachana Parishad in the Year-1979. Under the supervision of this society he started an English medium co-educational school in an old Muth building and named it Sant Atulanand Convent School in the Year-1980. The school was recognized by C.B.S.E. in 1986.
Keeping in view the rising demand and lack of space in Gilat Bazar branch the management decided to start another institution and named it Sant Atulanand Residential Academy in the year 2000 for residential as well as day scholars which is just 3.5 km. away from this branch in Village - Holapur on the Varanasi-Lucknow highway. The residential branch is situated in a campus area of about 10 Acres.
The number of students in the school at present stands at about 5000 in both the branches and a teaching staff and other helping hands are about 250 staff
