Soron Shookar Kshetra is a city and a municipal board in Kasganj district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. There is a sacred kund (also known as HAR KI PAUDI)located in Soron where people drown the remains of their deceased family members. It is said that if human bones are left in this kund, they dissolve and disappear over a period of time believed to be 72 hours.
